Premium protection for 10 devices - use Password and VPN on my Chromebooks?

Recommended Posts

I want to purchase Kaspersky Premium for 10 devices. I have

  • 3 Android devices
  • 2 MacOS devices
  • 1 iOS device
  • 4 ChromeOS devices (Chormebook)

I know that the anti-virus program is not compatible with ChromeOS devices yet (I hope it will come).

My question is can I still use your Password manager and VPN on the 4 chromebooks if I purchase the Premium version ?

Hello @kcnypmek

Welcome!

  1. Unfortunately no - the limitations are due to Google, more than Kaspersky.

Resources:

Kaspersky Password Manager, Computer requirements, Supported operating systems.

Kaspersky VPN Secure Connectiоn for Windows, Operating system requirements.

Thank you🙏

OK thanks, it is a pity, you will loose a lot of customers as more and more people like me had more than enough problems with Windows and now Apple too, they will all turn to Chromebook as they can also use Android Apps and also Linux apps. At least make a Chrome Extension to use VPN and Password manager.

Hello @kcnypmek

Thank you for the feedback!

KPM already has a Chrome extension:

Resources:

Kaspersky Password Manager extension.

The extension is installed. Configure your browser for the extension to work properly.

Thank you🙏

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, this Chrome extension is not available for Chromebook, so it is impossible to use. Furthermore, it appears that this extension does not work if the Kaspersky program cannot be installed.
I have the most confidence in the Kaspersky brand to secure my computers, but as long as the Android app for Chromebook doesn't exist, neither the antivirus, nor the password manager, nor the VPN will work.
So I will take out a subscription from another brand for another year and hope that Kaspersky will still release it for Chromebook/Chromebox.
