I have just received an email asking me to re-submit my payment details and do not know if this is a valid email or a scam.

 

I would appreciate clarification on this.

  • IF Kaspersky software has recently been purchased & IF there's an issue with the payment / transaction Kaspersky does send emails. 
  • Read: What to do in case of payment issues when buying a license or subscription?
  • The team to assist is:  Kaspersky Customer Service, https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts; they have access to (your) private information - to protect (your) security & privacy that information is not available in the Community-Forum; select either Email or Chat, then fill in the template as shown; include a *detailed history*.

*Also* -> IF using Chat - *before* ending the chat -> ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat* 

  • Kaspersky Customer Service can also verify the email address.
