Phone won't show up

Hi:

Running Firefox on Win 10, and when I plug my Android phone in to try and run a scan as external drive, it doesn't show up.

Is there a way to make this work, or another way to get my phone scanned?

• Android phones aren’t enabled to be mapped in the Windows OS as a storage volume (like ‘C:’ or ‘F:’). 
• Android phone Type is defined as Portable Media Player = Anti-virus scan can’t run, because it can’t detect the device as a storage volume. 
• Use a 3rd party app to map the Android phone as a network drive, so that it appears using Windows explorer; then scanning using Kaspersky AV.
