phone is locked by Kapersky Safe Kids and I am unable to access app to uninstall

When loading the Safe Kids app on child’s phone there must have been an issue.  When I try to access anything on phone it takes me to the Safe Kids login, which is email (already entered and unable to edit) and password.  I know the password is right because I even changed it & am using it to access MyKapersky, but it just says “invalid email or password” and won’t let me in.  I am so frustrated with this app!

1. What type of phone: Android or iOS & which version? 
2. Has the phone been powered OFF & then ON? 
3. Is it connecting via Mobile data or Wifi? 
4. Was the password changed by selecting Forgot your password, in the KSK app or via (your) MyKaspersky account in another app or device?

I ended up doing a factory reset on the phone because there was no way around it, and I tried every which way.
