Hello everyone, new to the forums and to Kaspersky.

As the topic says, every time I click on a setting the UI goes to the back of all windows and apps that I may have open at the time and I have to double click the app to bring it to the front. Kaspersky is the only app displaying this strage behaviour, it may seem a little issue to some but for me it is a huge one.

I have searched and search to no avail to find a solution. And hoping someone has had the same issue and solved it.

Operating system: Microsoft Windows 11 Professional x64 Build 26100
Databases release date: Today, 6:52 AM
Application version: Kaspersky Standard 2119.7.527(a)

Hello @Pete_Downunder

Welcome!

  1. Please provide the *fullOS Build number, in Windows Search, type WINVER, select the WINVER app & post back the information shown please?
  2. In Kaspersky Standard, select the Settings icon ⚙ on the lower-left-hand-side of the GUI, in Settings, select Manage settings, select Export, name the configuration file & select a path to save the file, READHow to export settings
  3. Restore the Kaspersky application to default -> still in Manage settings, select Restore, select Next, select Confirm, select Done.
  4. Shutdown the computer using Shutdown, not Restart, power ON by pressing the power button, login.
  5. Recheck the issue?
  6. IF it persists, *uninstall* Kaspersky Standard, at the end of the *uninstall* -> shutdown the computer using Shutdown, not Restart, power ON by pressing the power button, login.
  7. Download a *new* Kaspersky Standard installer: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads#update-product
  8. Clean install Kaspersky Standard, at the end of the install make sure (you're) signed into the Kaspersky Standard application with the same email address that (you) use to sign into (your) MyKaspersky account.
  9. Run a Database update.
  10. Shutdown the computer using Shutdown, not Restart, power ON by pressing the power button, login.
  11. Recheck the original issue?

Please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available?

Thank you🙏
