No longer have access to email used when signing up for Kasperky years ago so can't cancel subscription

I have had Kaspersky Anti-Virus for many years. My computer crashed and is no longer useable. I want to cancel my subscription and auto renewal. I haven't had to log into My Kaspersky for years. My login information is not working. I can't reset the password because the email I used when setting up my account is no longer accessible. I have filled out several online forms but have not had a response except for my email to *****@*****.tld who told me they couldn't help me with any technical issues. I don't know how to remedy this issue. I should also mention that I'm in the U.S. and apparently Kaspersky has been banned here. If that's the case maybe I don't need to worry about canceling my subscription. Maybe this issue will take care of itself. Looking for any kind of help or advice. Thank you!

Please post the incident reference number, prefixed with INC0000 - from the interaction with Kaspersky support? 

  1. (you're) absolutely correct, as of 30th September, 2024, the US banned Kaspersky, refer: Guide on Kaspersky software availability in the United States
  2. In the Guide, Subscription/Renewal advice is: Due to the US prohibition, we are forced to stop renewing Kaspersky subscriptions. All licenses will keep functioning until their original expiration date. In (your) specific case, IF the subscription was purchased thru Digital River (a previous Kaspersky business partner) & OR Nexway, current Kaspersky BP, both may still have have (your) records as *active*. Other US based subscribers have posted that they've had subscription/renewal issues - after the 30th of September 2024, despite the statement issued by Kaspersky & the Subscribers not wishing for their subscriptions to be renewed. 
  3. We fail to see how a request to cancel a subscription can be determined by Kaspersky to be a technical issue. Go back to Kaspersky, in writing -> tell them, (you) wish to cancel the subscription, even tho you have no access to (your) MyK account - Kaspersky will be able to find the subscription & cancel it for you.
