NEER ransomware

Hello, 

We have Kaspersky Endpoint Security v11.6.0.394 and yesterday we suffered a "NEER" ransomware attack he manage to encrypt some files in a folder and Kaspersky saw nothing.

Is this normal? 

They are not aware of this threat?

 

do we need another solution for this kind of threat?

• Ransomware note (no screenshot, the TXT file),
• A sample of encrypted file,
• GSI file of one affected computer.

Our specialists will check if there is available a decryptor for this Ransomware.

If you need an investigation of incident with Kaspersky participation, there is out of scope for Technical Support team, you should request Incident Response Service (with additional costs) to your distributor.
