My Kaspersky removal tool displays dozens of products to remove

I uninstalled Kaspersky from my system, but then I learned that I should use the Kaspersky removal tool to fully remove it. So I did that and the tool displays dozens of products to be removed. Some of the products don't even leave the list when I remove them. What on Earth am I to do? The image doesn't even show all of the products that are listed.

It looks like you have left overs from several previous /old Kaspersky products 🤔 , can you run any application from the list ?

No I cannot. There are no Kaspersky applications in the control panel.

Please have look in your registry with Regedit ?

Also before proceeding please backup your system and take care to save your personal files on an external device !

Hello @heckla22,

you probably start the remover with the parameter nodetect. This will show you everything that the remover could remove if it is there.
Run the remover without parameter and it will show you what is effectively on your computer. Probably nothing.

The remover should only be used together with the support, then these misunderstandings do not happen.

the normal behavior of simply start the tool is showing all the product it is able to remove

choose one to proceed

and you should not

if you start uninstallation from windows control panel and no error occured during the removal
