Hello @tegami2020,

Welcome!

  • Would you care to share the warnings - images, so we have some understanding?
  • Also, we may be able to assist in determining the root cause of the alerts, possibly even offer a solution🤔

Please post back?

Thank you🙏

Yes, happy to, see below. This warning pops up whenever an MS Office program is opened. None of the solutions available via a Google search work for me, and it doesn’t appear to be a topic in your forums.

Hello @tegami2020,

Thank you so much for the image👌

  • The question is why is Microsoft Office trying to contact yahoo.co.uk site🤔
  • Please review detailed documentation, noting exclusions can be added, however, imo, it would be best to consult Kaspersky Technical Support as well🤔

Messages "Certificate verification problem detected" and "Cannot guarantee authenticity of the domain to which encrypted connection is established" when trying to open a website

First check:

  1. All Windows updates have been applied?
  2. KAV is up to date with the latest patch (j)?
  3. The Office suite of software is fully up-to-date?
  •  Kaspersky Technical Support, they will require a GSI & Windows Logs, a detailed history, images & they may ask for Traces, captured as the issue is replicated.
  • After submitting the case, you’ll receive an automated email with an INC+12digits reference number, then, normally, within 5 business days, a Kaspersky Technical Support human will communicate with you, also by email, you may continue to engage with the Kaspersky Technical Team via email or by updating the INC in your MyKaspersky account.

Please let us know the outcome when it’s available?

Thank you🙏

Hello, same issue here. It has to do with the windows ID that office is registered to. So I guess MS office is trying to verify somehow the accounts address. Was any workaround for this (mine is a yahoo.gr address)
