Moving licence to new device - No available licences

I've just had to change to a new computer and wished to transfer a kaspersky licence to this pc. 

I have a 3 year licence for 3 devices obtained a year ago pre-installed on my PC by someone who built it. I have logged onto the website and removed all but 1 device. 

On attempting to register this new pc i'm receiving an error saying that there are not enough activations remaining on the licence. 

I have spoken to chat support who advised that they cannot help with this and the vendor i bought the licence through needs to reset it (I have no idea who this is). 

I cannot believe that Kaspersky who provides the service is unable to remedy this, why even provide a section of the website to "manage devices" if it doesnt work? 

Any help regarding this would be appreciated, otherwise I hear another Antivirus  has good reviews and i'm unfortunately done after many years using kaspersky.

I am in a similar situation, I lost my Mac air and want to reinstall on my new one but nobody seems to be able to do this for me, I have been on line to the support service who to be fair were helpful but no-one has yet come up with a definitive way forward. I have now suggested cancelling my existing one on the old laptop and buying the same thing again although I still have 9 months remaining on the old licence. All details of my licence are on the old computer which isn't working so no access. Any suggestions would be helpful. I am thinking maybe return laptop to Apple and ask them to sort it. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

This community can not resolve your license issue , Kaspersky Technical Support is your only option.
