KSN Statement, "....may receive objects..."? [Closed]

This looks like Kaspersky is asking me to agree to receive potential threats. This statement has the option to decline and I am still able to install and use the application. If I don’t agree, I would still ‘potentially’ receive threats anyway so I do not understand why this is included in this statement? Can someone clear this up for me, thanks. ​​

Hello @Nick96, welcome to the forum.

If you accept the conditions, your anti-virus can actively participate in the KSN. If unknown malware is found on your computer, it can be sent to the rightholder (Kaspersky) for analysis, in part or in whole.
If you do not accept the conditions, your Anti-Virus will passively participate in the KSN. It only receives information, but does not send any.
