Hello @jaqoeve

Welcome!

  1. Where has the YouTube Forbidden rule been applied → in Application monitoring or Web activity monitoring
  2. Post an image of the ‘block YouTube’ rule you’ve created please?
  3. Is KSK Premium or Free?

Please post back?

Thank you🙏

Hello @jaqoeve

Thank you for replying & the information!

Let’s try this:

  1. Reset the child’s profile birth year to 2019 - 0-6 Age group - this is a temporary change to force a profile reset.
  2. Remove www.youtube.com → select Save to apply the change.
  3. Exit the browser (you’re using to make these changes).
  4. Shutdown / power off MAC.
  5. Power on MAC, login.
  6. Change the child’s profile age to the correct age.
  7. Apply exclusion youtube.com → Forbidden → select Save to apply the change.
  8. Exit the browser (you’re using to make these changes).
  9. Shutdown / power off MAC.
  10. Power on MAC, login.
  11. Recheck if YouTube is blocked?

  12. Please let us know the outcome?

Thank you🙏

Hello @jaqoeve

Thank you for posting back, the information & the images!

We raised a query with Kaspersky experts, they have advised:

quote

  • macOS 11.4. is not supported for KSK.

Official support expected soon.

end quote.

  • Also, please remove www from the exclusions, use:

youtube.com

kompas.com

Thank you🙏

I do use Safe Kids on my Mac Big Sur (11.5) and it works fine. I advise you to perform a clean uninstall. This also requires the removal of the Kaspersky extensions, which are shown in the security and privacy options. However, you have to use the terminal.  For example you can write

tccutil reset SystemPolicyAllFiles сom.kaspersky.safekids.sysextctrld

to remove the  Kaspersky System Extension from full disk access.

However, please be careful if you try these options.  PLEASE Only do this, if you are experienced using the terminal.

hi @Salamander.

thanks for your advice.. i will try it.

after I hopeless to reinstall and setting in ksk, I remove guest menu and add user menu from terminal also. and use blocksite as extension to block their access to youtube.

but i will try it as your suggestion.

thanks.

Hello @jaqoeve

Kaspersky Technical Support have provided an update:

  1. Kaspersky supports macOS 11.4 & macOS 11.5.
  2. Support for the M1 processor will be implemented in the next version, however, no ETA is available atm.

Thank you🙏
