KSC10 - Encryption Removable drive [MOVED]

Hello,

 

I have enabled in my policy the encryption for removable devices. but nothing happens on client when i plug usb drive , I don't see pop-ups or events in console.
For hard drives set already encryption via bitlocker and it works well.

Removable disk encryption works with bitlocker or only with Kaspersky FDE? (in my KES installation package I have selected only Bitlocker Management under Data Encryption)

You need to install file encryption module (first one in the list).

I recommend installing this module on only one or two admin PCs, not everywhere.

Best practice: 
- Device controll: Deny all removable devices
- Device controll: Add the company's removable devices to the list of trusted devices
- Encryption of removable drives: Encrypt all trusted devices with admin PCs
- Distribute the encrypted, trusted devices to the employees
