C:\ProgramData\KasperskyLab\adminkit\1093\.working\FTServer\b6046aa1-bee8-41c7-8b8d-1d2f0a102418.package is using 6g of space.

This KSC server version 10.5 1781 has never been used as a WSUS server (WSUS itself is installed on this server). How do I remove these? Advanced>Application Management>Software Updates - Select All (or even some) does not delete the items.

What is the effect of just deleting the files in that path since KSC does nothing with them?

Hello!

Deleting these files in the folder itself can lead to a serious danger that the structure of the files in the KSC DB will be broken and it may cause the DB corruption.

After you deleted the updates in the KSC GUI there must go some time so the updates are deleted.

Thanks!

I would think 12 hours would be plenty of time for the files to be deleted, but they are still there.

I don’t understand why a KSC that has never been used as a WSUS server and has no WSUS or update related tasks is even downloading a list of updates much less 6 g of update files.

How do I stop this and get rid of these files?

Hi,

I would think 12 hours would be plenty of time for the files to be deleted, but they are still there.

Unfortunately, no. It usually takes several days for these files to be deleted. This behaviour is by design.

Hello,

I am also having this issue and it has been over 7 days. There are 624 updates, I have “deleted” them several times and they have never been removed. Is there a utility tool I can use to remove them?

Hi I have same problem the \FTServer folder is now 500GB.

Is there a way to clear this or change the location of where they are saved?
