Recommended Posts

Hey I have installed kaspersky sql database then I have installed the kaspersky security center before it was good and working normally so now if I connect to or click to the kaspersky security center 14 I am unable able to connect it gives the following error

Kaspersky Security Center 14

Connecting to Administration Server localhost

Failed to connect to the Administration Server for this reason:

*Failed to establish connection with the remote device (location: 'http://localhost:13291'): connection has failed.*

Please try to specify another Administration Server address and connect again.

most likely there was a failure in one of the KSC services

- open the service snap-in

- erase the display according to the status, it will be sanded “automatically”

- check the services that should have been started but are currently not working

Basically, pay attention to all services in the description of which there is a mention of “Kaspersky” or administration server. Also check the services responsible for the SQL server...

start the services, wait a couple of minutes and try to connect...

For information about problems in the operation of KSC, see Wibdows Events

check the SQL status, if you are using the SQL Express solution, it is possible that the database is full (10 GB limit)

Check Windows events... to understand the reason for this behavior of the service.

try rebooting the server completely... check the availability of backups... in case of recovery...

You can also create a request to the technical support service - https://companyaccount.kaspersky.com/

Hello Mohib,

in Cases like this it is most likely the Connection to the Database what is the Root Cause of the Issue. The Informations what's wrong are in Windows System Logs or Kaspersky Event Log. If you want to have fast help I would recommend to open an Incident as Elvin wrote. Normally the Colleagues know the issues from the Logs and can help fast.

You can additional create a getsysteminfo Report including Eventlogs and attach this directly to your Incident in the company Account.  https://www.getsysteminfo.com/
