How can I migrate the Database data of a KSC 14 installation from DBMS X to DBMS Y?

Can I make a backup (klbackup) of KSC instance X, and then run a new KSC instance Y, to finally restore the backup?

Hello alaurent,

the normal way to move the DB to another SQL Server or Instance is like you said with the Backup Utility. But for using the new Instance KSC must be re installed.

So the best way is like described in the Help with moving KSC to another Server also when it is the same Server:

Important the DB Name must be the same normally it is KAV instance name could be a different one.
