Hi ,

I Use KSC 11.0.0.1131 and Endpoint  11.2.0.2254

After i open the lock in policy  (for example :Exclusion) and change the policy from ksc , This change does not apply to clients.Is there a way to do both unlock policy and group change policy?

Hi,

This behaviour is dy design.

This “lock” means that settings under that lock is mandatory.

If the lock is unlocked than settings are not mandatory and could be changed. In that case these “non-mandatory” settings may not be delivers to the host.

Lock also enables inheritance to flow down to child policies or clients. If lock is open, subsidiary policies or clients can modify those settings. This is the only way how KSC works and cannot be changes as far as I know.
