KRD Unlock LUKS Encrypted Drive

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I recently download the latest Kaspersky Rescue Disk to scan a potentially infected Linux system, the system is encrypted with LUKS and uses LVM2.

When I attempt to unlock the drive using the KRD environment, I get an error saying "device parameters invalid".

I have no problem unlocking the drive using a standard Linux distro.

I'm guessing that KRD does not have the proper support for LUKS or LVM2?

Dose anyone have a solution to unlocking LVM2 volumes encrypted with LUKS on a KRD environment?

Thanks

Good afternoon!

Which version of KRD have you
been trying? KRD 2024 Beta, perhaps?
What
steps did you take to unlock your drive? Could you please show me a screenshot of the error message you received?
In which Linux distribution
were you able to unlock your disk?
Would you mind sending me the logs from KRD 2024 so I can take a look?
