I am having troubles with exporting my passwords from my OperaGX password manager to KPM

Im using version 25.0.0.501 (a) / 1748877597_7700 / 1.1.0.2_1 of KPM
When I try to import the file into KPM, it registers the username as the website name and the password as the website url. I made sure for my file to be in the format url, username, password, name, note but it still does the same thing

Hello @Rafiul,

Welcome!

  • Unfortunately the exporting of passwords from OperaGX password manager to KPM is not supported.

ReadKPM, Import and export data:

"Kaspersky Password Manager supports importing logins and passwords from the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome (version 106 or later)
  • Mozilla Firefox (version 55 or later)
  • Microsoft Edge based on Chromium (version 106 or later)
  • Yandex.Browser (version 106 or later)"
  1. In OperaGX password manager is there an option to export as .csv?

Thank you🙏

Yeah the file that opera gives me is a cvs. The problem arises when I also tried to export it from chrome using the cvs file that it gave me, but KPM still messed up with the details

  • Thanks 1

Hello @Rafiul,

Thank you for the update!

  1. We don't have any format issues when importing .csv from Chrome.
  2. Read the guide that discusses the CSV file, it's for Password managers - not Browsers - but there's information there that may be useful: Import data from other password managers
  3. For *Chrome* -> log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service, https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - select Email then fill in the template as shown; include a *detailed history*; Support may request logs, traces & other data captured while the problem is replicated -> they will guide you:                                                                                      image.thumb.png.43b65e97287615984e2dc1cf9ebc033a.png

Please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available?

Thank you🙏
