KIS for MacOS times out during installation

Recommended Posts

Hi

I'm installing Kaspersky Internet Security for MacOS on a new Macbook (running 12.5) and getting very poor download speeds - so low that on each of 4 attempts, it has timed out during the download phase each time.

Is there a workaround? I've tried to find an offline installer without success.

Thanks,
Edwin

Hello @NetSenseComp

Welcome!

  • We reached out to Kaspersky support, they advised, unfortunately, Kaspersky does not have offline installers for MacOS 12.5 or any version of MacOS.
  • KIS downloads should not be timing out, if you've rebooted the device & checked the network, you may wish to contact Support, on the support page, select either Chat or Emai, then fill in Application malfunction, Other; Support may request logs, traces & other data; they will guide you.

Please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available?

Thank you?

Try this steps

Turn off wi-fi on the Mac by going to the wireless menu and choosing “Turn Wi-Fi Off”
Eject and disconnect any Thunderbolt or USB drives or disk peripherals that are attached to the computer (I know this sounds weird, just do it)
