Keyboard and mouse not working after restart

I installed Kaspersky Total Security today, with a one year subscription. However, after it did a scan and restarted the computer, my keyboard and mouse have stopped responding. I tried other keyboards and mice, both wired and wireless as well but it did not work. But they still work on the biOS screen of the pc. I could not find a recovery boot option. So I would like to have help with this.

Hello,

Welcome.

Please note KTS is older product now. KTS is replaced by Kaspersky Plus.

Uninstall KTS restart and install Kaspersky Plus.

Unfortunately I cannot do that without my keyboard or mouse.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. This is what I have been trying to get help from, however when I try to use the Kaspersky Rescue Disk, my PC is stuck on a black screen after I choose “graphic mode” for it. And I can’t figure out how to use the other two options. Could not find a way to do recovery boot on Windows 11. And could not find an option for it on my biOS either.

Maybe trying the new KRD beta could fix Your issue with the screen...

Could you maybe attach a link as I couldn’t find it although I have searched for it?
