Kavremover don't detect program version to uninstall

Windows 11 24h2. I tried to totally remove version 21.19.7.477 before installing 21.19.7.515. First I used the Windows 'add and remove' method. After restarting, there were still some Kaspersky traces in the registry. I downloaded 'kavremvr.exe' tool and started it, but it didn't detect Antivirus version, and then I couldn't manually select the version to force uninstall because MR19 was not listed. So I forgot the remnants and installed version 21.19.7.515 without any problems, but for the future...

How can the registry remnants of MR19 (beta) be deleted?

Welcome to Kaspersky Community.

Hum... W11 24H2 just released, but still with many errors, and K. 21.19 it's a beta, You should not use none of the both product in a working system, but in a VM and/or specific system to check.

Did you try to uninstall K21.19 from own uninstaller via Windows Control Panel -> Program and Features?

KAVREMOVER tool is only recommended when there are issues with the integrated standard uninstaller I told previously.

That being said, You can try this free tool:

https://www.resplendence.com/download/RegistrarHomeV9.exe

Once installed, in the column on the left, type "kaspersky" in Search form and start searching, once ended, select ALL THE REGISTRY KEYS and delete them, You can do it with just 1 click.

Registrar Home is a nice program, which I used in 23h2, but it doesn't start in (my) 24h2.

Try to run it as Admin rights.

No joy! I did so at first place: rr.exe is running, but nothing shows on desktop.

Though latest Kaspersky beta runs well.

DeleteEx deleted stubborn keys from security center. Maybe You are right: Beta testing isn't for me and 24h2 but this also happened to me with Kaspersky Free and 23h2. Why Kaspersky uninstaller sometimes leaves registry traces? Many beta versions uninstalled properly.

I contacted the Registrar developers and they said they are aware of the issue with 11-24h2. So my problem was not caused by malware. KVRT also found nothing.

After uninstall the situation was difficult. I removed Kaspersky, but Kaspersky was still in the Windows registry as a provider of firewall and antivirus, so my computer was left without real-time protection - and still Windows Security announced that "No actions needed". Luckily I wasn't believer. Registrar didn't start, so I saw three options: reinstall Kaspersky, find an alternative to Registrar, or install clean Windows.
