Kaspersky Total Secuity legacy product

Our Kaspersky Total Security package has expired and knowing that it is a legacy product now replaced by Kaspersky Standard Plus, do I have to uninstall Total Security and install the Standard Plus from the website or is there a link to automatically change the products.

What's the process moving forward.

Welcome!

• Kaspersky Total Security has been replaced by Kaspersky Plus; please READ: Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - info & FAQ, by Danila T.
• Kaspersky Anti-Virus & Kaspersky Internet Security have been replaced by Kaspersky Standard.
• IF purchasing a new subscription from a Kaspersky website; the following applies: 

1. The subscription / license *activates* as soon as the payment has been processed, not when the software is installed. 
2. There is no activation code, rather a License Key is automatically sent to the subscriber's MyKaspersky account, READ: How to find the activation code for your Kaspersky application on My Kaspersky. The License Key is also shown in the application, after the software is installed, READ: Where to find a license key for Kaspersky Standard, Plus, Premium, for Windows
3. We prefer to *uninstall* the old (KTS) software - using Windows Add or remove programs, then clean install the *new* software. 
4. *Important* to install the new software -> if you purchased a subscription from Kaspersky website, READ: To activate a subscription on your devices:  
5. *Important* -> after the software has been installed (you) must sign into the Kaspersky Plus application - using the same email address used to purchase the subscription, this will ensure the application & the License Key stored in the MyKaspersky account synchronise. 
6. For the new Kaspersky range, IF purchased from a Kaspersky website, Auto-renewal is automatically ON & there's no 'switch' in the subscriber's account to turn it OFF - should you wish to turn off  Auto-renewal at any stage - prior to a subscription auto-renewing - please create a request with Kaspersky Customer Service.
