Hello. After turning on the anti virus it starts taking an awful lot of cpu this happens for 3-4 minutes it takes about 30% of cp later it stops for about 5 minutes and starts again. Antivirus does not perform any scan or update during this activity. It does not give anything from scratch. At the bottom I am attaching screenshots from the task manager. Please help me urgently because with such a load on the processor it is difficult for me to use my computer.

Hello @Dawid,

looking at the first screenhot, it would be quite possible that a database update is in progress. For this a second instance of avp.exe is launched.

The reason for the CPU load in the second screenshot could be the rootkit scan.
You can disable it temporarily for testing:
main window->Scan. Scroll down to 'Background scan'.
After clicking on the cogwheel you can disable it temporarily.

How does the system behave after this?

@Schulte
Disabling background scanning still consumed the same amount of CPU.

Hello,

When does this behaviro occur? Is there a pattern? Do you have downloading software running and downloading resources? Or is there any network hard disk (Cloud store) software that synchronizes files in the background? Try to disable web-antivirus and firewall component to check it.

Regards.
