Kaspersky Standard blocking Apple Time Machine backups

Hello!

I'm currently running a Macbook with Kaspersky Standard installed. I'm currently encountering a problem where Kaspersky Standard seems to be blocking my ability to backup to my time machine server.

In case it is important, my time machine server is not a standard Time Capsule. I'm running the time machine as a partition on my network NAS.

What can I do to resume my backups? Disabling Kaspersky Standard through the 'Protection' switch in the MacOS status bar, or quitting it via the same menu does not resolve the problem. I'm assuming that Kaspersky does some additional network protection that does not exit when you quit or disable the main app?
