Hí,

The links open within the Facebook app.

Why are these links not scanned by Kaspersky?

The following application examines these links as well: Eset Mobile.

Facebook no longer allows links to open in Chrome.

6. Facebook no longer allows links to open in Chrome.

Hello @TIBCSI66

Welcome!

*IF (your) subscription is Kaspersky Standard, Social Privacy is not available: read: Kaspersky app features and plans & About Social Privacy: This feature is available only in the Plus and Premium subscription plans for the Kaspersky app.*

  1. Android OS version
  2. Confirm if Kaspersky Standard subscription is installed & the version? IF it's Standard, the remaining questions are irrelevant.
  3. Is there more than one AV software installed on the Android?
  4. Is Kaspersky Social Privacy enabled for Facebook?
  5. We do not understand this comment: "Facebook no longer allows links to open in Chrome." - please provide more information? What is the error (you) see when opening links in Facebook, using Chrome?
  6. Which region / location are you in please?

Please post back?

Thank you🙏

Kaspersky Standard-Plus:I have a valid key for both.

Region-Hungary.

The latest version was downloaded from the play store.

I circled it in red in the attachment.

I clicked on a link on Facebook.

opened the link within facebook.

my default browser is Chrome.

This is also how Kaspersky examines the link?

Hello @TIBCSI66

Thank you for the information!

  1. It's not possible to have two subscriptions on the one device
  2. IF the subscription is Standard, the Social Privacy Facebook feature is *not* available.
  3. IF the  subscription is Plus, the Social Privacy Facebook feature is available.
  4. The *version* is important.
  • First, let's clear up which subscription & version is *actually* installed, open Kaspersky, select the profile icon, scroll down to & select About - take a screen-print of the About screen information & post back please?

I activated the Standard version.

I don't need VPN or other functions.

the price of the Standard version is also good.

However, I did not read on Kaspersky's website that the Plus version is required to scan Facebook!

Hello @TIBCSI66

Thank you for posting back & the information!

Ok, but did (you) read the advice we posted in our previous reply: *IF (your) subscription is Kaspersky Standard, Social Privacy is not available: read: Kaspersky app features and plans & About Social Privacy: This feature is available only in the Plus and Premium subscription plans for the Kaspersky app.*

  1. Please share the Facebook link shown in the image (you) posted 24th July 2024?

Thank you🙏

Hi,

I then installed this application:Kaspersky Plus.

So then my question is the following.

If I click on a link on Facebook, it will be checked by Kaspersky?

The link opens within the Facebook application!
