Kaspersky Software Update Report vs Software Vulnerabilities Report

Hi,

 

I was wondering if I could get clarification on the differences between the two reports - Software Update Report & Software Vulnerabilites Report.

Both seem to display windows updates with severity levels, and both display third party applications. The Software update report seems to show all updates available, however it includes updates marked as critical that do not show up on the vulnerabilites report.

Hello!

Actually the Software updates reports shows only the applicable updates that are available for the installed software whether if covers any vulnerabilities or not. The Software vulnerabilities report shows only the software that has any known vulnerabilities and offers the updates that cover these vulnerabilities.
