Kaspersky Security Center cache folder

Environment:

-Kaspersky Security Center 11 (Win 2012)

 

Is it possible to reduce the size of this folder without affecting of the Kaspersky console  functionality?

Kaspersky cache

C:\ProgramData\KasperskyLab\adminkit\bases\Cache

121 GB

Kaspersky Security Center 11 is outdated, I suggest that you install the latest version & check if the problem is solved. Check this link for instructions on how to upgrade the administration server : https://support.kaspersky.com/KSC/14.2/en-US/179979.htm

thank you for your reply. We have considered this, but unfortunately the C drive where Kaspersky is installed is out of space. The first step is to free up space, and only then we can perform an in-place upgrade.

Hello Mlad,

if possible do a backup of the system.

Stop Kaspersky Services

empty the folder (it is a cache folder and should not have any impact on KSC functionality)

Then do the Update of KSC to version 14.2
