Hi, I apologize in advance for my English, but I use google translator. All in all, you can see everything on the film, nothing works. I tried different options, i.e. burning a krd.iso image on a cd and booting from a pendrive. Each time the effect is the same. Laptop to Hp pavilion 1050ew. The operating system is Windows 10 Home. If you need more detailed information (logs or something else, I am asking for detailed instructions, I do not know linux, but I think I can do it). All is here:

I checked what the situation looks like on the second computer, stationary and everything is fine, i.e. the problem is depending on the equipment.

Hello Bboylubsko, Welcome! No need to apologise, you've done great, your English is great & thank you for the video:clap_tone2:! From looking at the video, irrespective of what you click on - nothing works.
 1. What happens if you run Windows in SafeMode without Networking?

Thank you for your response. I wanted to make an emergency scanner that could scan my computer without loading the operating system. I do not have any Kaspersky products, only Kaspersky Rescue Disc. I used the word linux, because Kaspersky Rescue Disc is based on this system and my knowledge of this operating system is small, but if I could help solve the problem (provide some necessary information, logs) I would gladly do it, I would only have to have exact instructions :) I think I found a solution to the riddle Everything works correctly until I do not connect to the WiFi network. When I enter my password and click connect nothing can be done. Greetings :)

So the sequence is as follows - When I do not connect to the WiFi network everything works, when I connect, I can not do anything (movie 1): When I disconnect from the WiFi network everything returns to normal (movie 2):

Hello Bboylubsko, I've spent hours testing this, I cannot replicate the issue. Can you access your network in any way other than wifi? Why is x selected? (image from Movie 1)
 1. What's the result if KRD is allowed to complete?
Please let us know? Thanks.

If I understood correctly :) : Using the Plates: 1. I downloaded the iso file from the site: https://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/krd2018 2. I burned the iso file using the ultra iso program I have prepared a USB disk with the help of the YUMI multiboot installer. Regarding the preparation of the media, I doubt that this is a problem here, because using the same discs and USB disks on the second computer everything works fine and even connect to the same network. I used "x" to show that after connecting to the WiFi network does not work the scanner itself, which is called by me by double-clicking without success. The problem also occurs with the base upgrade itself, when I connect to the WiFi network, the KRD detects that it needs to update the database. I click Update and the window disappears forever, as if the process was killed and I stay with a clean desktop. The problem also occurs when I am connected to a WiFi network and I try to disable the scanner and restart the computer. When the graphical environment is closed and the console is shown with commands to unload the KRD and restart the computer, it stops and stands at some point. The problem also occurs when I try to connect with the help of an ethernet cable. The exact same situation. I am enclosing a short film:

Hello Bboylubsko, Thank you for elaborating. Have you carefully followed the specific documentation, provided in my other posts, that addresses network connectivity and databse upate issues? Please let us know? Thanks.

Yes, I do it step by step and the effect is still the same. :)

English: My second laptop has the same problem. Once again, only step by step. a) 1. The laptop is turned off. 2. I connect the ethernet cable. 3. Turn on the laptop and boot KRD. 4. The Internet works and all applications work. 5. I disconnect the ethernet cable. 6. Nothing works, the effect is the same as in the films above, does not respond to a double click. 7. In that case I connect the ethernet cable back. 8. Everything works and I can run applications (no effect on the films above, everything reacts to a double click). b) 1. The laptop is turned off. 2. The ethernet cable is not connected. 3. Turn on the laptop and boot KRD. 4. The internet is gone, because the cable is disconnected, but all applications are working (they respond to a double click and start up). 5. I connect the ethernet cable. 6. Nothing works, the effect is the same as in the films above, nothing reacts to a double click. 7. I disconnect the ethernet cable. 8. Everything is back to normal and everything works, I can run applications. I hope I have described everything clearly, I am asking for tests, preferably on laptops. Polish: Mój drugi laptop ma ten sam problem. Jeszcze raz tylko krok po kroku. a) 1. Laptop jest wyłączony. 2. Podłączam kabel ethernet. 3. Włączam laptopa i bootuje KRD. 4. Internet działa i wszystkie aplikacje działają. 5. Odłączam kabel ethernet. 6. 2. Kabel ethernet jest niepodłączony. 3. Włączam laptopa i bootuje KRD. 4. 7. Odłączam kabel ethernet. 8. Wszystko wraca do normy i wszystko działa, mogę uruchamiać aplikacje. Mam nadzieję że wszystko jasno opisałem, proszę o testy, najlepiej na laptopach.

English - Google Translator: I came up with an idea. 1. I set a WiFi router on my smartphone and created a WiFi network from the "bboylubsko" phone. 2. I connected to the "bboylubsko" WiFi network and everything works normally. Internet works and applications start up. 3. I disconnected from the "bboylubsko" WiFi network. 4. Connected to the "No free WiFi for you" network (my home network). 5. Nothing works, I can not open any application. Apparently the only problem is my WiFi and ethernet (that is, generally a router), but the question is why :)? If it was about the lack of internet I still understand, but suspending the entire KRD system? :) Polish: Wpadłem na pewien pomysł. 1. Ustawiłem w smartfonie router WiFi i utworzyłem sieć WiFi z telefonu "bboylubsko". 2. Połączyłem się z siecią WiFi "bboylubsko" i wszystko działa normalnie. Internet działa i aplikacje się uruchamiają. 3. Rozłączyłem się z siecią WiFi "bboylubsko". 4. Połączyłem się z siecią "No free WiFi for you" (moja sieć domowa) 5. :)

Hello Bboylubsko, I believe(d) the network you choose is the issue - that's why I sent you links for the network documentation. I can see you've solved it - by changing n/w access. If you decide to use SILENT ? - you always need to add subtitles, (like you have in your last 2 posts) silent ? are from a very old world, like Charlie Chaplin, 'cept his are funnier than yours:wink: Best regards!

In boot mode it works. I changed the file extension from tgz to zip, because I can not add it as a switch.

Bboylubsko, thanks:pray_tone2: Yury N. Change .zip back to .tgz after downloading, then the files can be extracted, leaving as .zip the system popus displays:
 1. as .tgz

Hi, Bboylubsko From your videos i can see that all application crashes after network connection: Dumps for Kaspersky Rescue Tool can be found in product folder (see https://support.kaspersky.com/14510 for details). After reprodution, please, attach all core.KRT.* files into forum (as far as i can see it's saved on volume with label "System" - possible it's C:\ in windows).

Hi, Bboylubsko Thank you for KRT core files! KRT crashes because it can't connect to XServer display. And all other applications can't be started due to same problem. XServer can refuse connections to existing X display if hostname has been changing on Wi-Fi connection. Please, provide screenshot with results of following test: 1) Run terminal 2) Execute command - echo ${HOSTNAME} 3) Try to connect to problem Wi-Fi network (don't close terminal) 4) In terminal execute command again - echo ${HOSTNAME} 5) Make screenshot (press Prt Scr button on keyboard) If values of HOSTNAME is different on step 2 and step 4 try to execute command in terminal - echo ${HOSTNAME} > /proc/sys/kernel/hostname and try to start any graphical application (KRT for example).

I reproduced applications crash on hostname changing. You can see it if change command in step 2 and 4 from "echo ${HOSTNAME}" to "hostname". I''l try to find solution for this case.
