Kaspersky prevents discord from working (even on different discord versions).

Hi,

Since yesterday, Kaspersky seem to be blocking my discord app from working. I had had the issue 1-2 times before but was able to get rid of it by reinstalling kaspersky, however it does not seem to fix the issue. The app is stuck at the "starting" screen after checking for updates.

I added the whole discord folder & the app to the Kaspersky exclusions, without any change.

Are you using KVPN?

 

Also, try adding to Discord exe / services, in Intrusion Prevention rules, this similar, as example, rule:

I only use it from time to time, never on long periods of time, so most of the time it's off

I talk about KVPN because currently is having issues due to migration to a new network.
