I just upgraded to The Premium version for 5 devices, well 4 actually but the option is only for 1,3 or 5 devices. They are my iPhone XS and iPad pro my wife's iPhone 15 and her iPad all are running iOS 18.1.1

My iPhone XS and my wife's iPad have both upgraded the same way and format that is displayed when you open the Kaspersky icon. However my wife's iPone 15 has upgraded but the display format is "missing" the VPN  window entirely.  When I go into settings the VPN option is showing "on" so assume its on. But don't understand  why it has updated the same as my phone. I did remove the VPN  icon (and attached data) from my wife's phone  which i didn't on my phone is this the reason for the difference?

I haven't removed the VPN icon from my iPad however it does not show the same updated format at all. When i open the Kaspersky icon is states I need to "uninstall my current/existing VPN first. But I am reluctant to do this, given what happened to my wife's phone when I removed the VPN icon from it.

How do you complete the upgrade to Premium and get the same screen format on all 4 apple devices? It looks like a good security app but I am concerned I have created a problem I cannot fix.

Hello @RussellF

1. We're not sure which Kaspersky subscription pre-existed the upgrade to Premium, however it's not possible to have both Premium & Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection at the same time.
2. (You) haven't created a problem that cannot be fixed; don't worry, please read on:

In Kaspersky (Premium) for iOS, Hardware and software requirements documentation, it states:

The Kaspersky app includes Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection functionality. You must uninstall one of the apps to use the other.

Also, in: Kaspersky Premium for iOS, About Kaspersky VPN, it states:

Now you can use VPN in the upgraded all-in-one appKaspersky for iOS. This app has everything you need for your protection and privacy and it includes Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection functionality.

When you install Kaspersky app, tap VPN and follow the instructions on the screen to transfer your VPN settings.

After these settings are transferred, the VPN will work via Kaspersky app. At the same time, VPN functionality will stop working in Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection, and you can delete this app.

The secure connection will be automatically turned off while the VPN settings are being transferred to Kaspersky app.

If you want to transfer VPN settings, both apps should be connected to the same My Kaspersky account. If you have different subscriptions and want to use them at the same time, you'll have to contact Customer Service.

You can still change your mind and use Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection instead of Kaspersky app. However, settings cannot be transferred back from Kaspersky app. If you decide to keep using Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection, you will have to configure the VPN settings manually.

  • IF required, log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service - https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts  - select either Chat or Email, then fill in the template as shown; include a *detailed history
  • *Also* -> IF using Chat -> *before* ending the chat -> ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat*    image.thumb.png.4d65d6e9eafc96a7449a9eb7e880bd1c.png

Thank you?
