Using latest version of kaspersky standard 21.22.7.466(a)

This is the second time I've encountered this issues something is kiiling the internet via all browsers(chrome, firefox, opera) even edge, my pc is up for 15 days does not matter for the moment it's random thing, the only solution I had is to exit kaspersky standard and all came to normal funny is that when the issue happened the internet was working for all other app except the browsers.

I don't use the kaspersky extension on browsers

I don't use the protection from windows

I'm using latest version windows 11

Never seen this issues with kaspersky for more then 10 years

The only thing that happend twice last 15 days and today is that I was browsing strava in the firefox browser

Anyone had this issues or similar ?

Hello, are you still hitting this or reinstalling Kaspersky fixed the issue? I'm hitting this* for a couple of months but on macOS (Sequoia) and running Kasperky Premium and I don't run any updates other than the ones provided by Apple to everyone.
*Only browsers stop working, everything else still works.

I did open 2 incidents with Kaspersky but it didn't help, especially because issue is intermittent and there's no way to be prepared and ready capturing network packets before it happens.

Also, issue seems to have some relation with Firefox as FF sometimes freezes when issue happens and I try to stop it.

I've just uninstalled Kaspersky for now.

Hello. I'm also hitting this for a couple of months but on macOS Sequoia (and running Kaspersky Premium). I raised 2 incidents with Kaspersky support but that didn't help and I've been enabling and disabling Kaspersky protection. The main difficulty is that issue is intermittent so leaving packet capture enabled indefinitely until the issue resurfaces is not feasible.

I noticed issue seems to be related also to Firefox because whenever the issue happens, most of the time, FF also freezes and I can't even close it unless I use "force quit".

Have you found a solution for this?

Sent the crash report a few times, but since when the issue happens it also blocks all other browsers (Safari and Chrome) from communicating and because issue doesn't happen when I disable Kaspersky, I'm 100% sure issue is either with Kaspersky itself or with Kaspersky browser extensions.

In my case I don't use the browser extension

Thank you. I only posted here because it was the only post I've found with a very similar scenario and I couldn't get any useful update/response from Kaspersky support so I gave up.

And just for the record, in my case, removing the Kaspersky Firefox browser extension fixed the issue.

The most recent Kaspersky Firefox Protection extension 2.13.33.2 (updated 10/22/2025) is available on addons.mozilla.org

I don't use any of the extensions since you said it was general issues not only the browsers
