I have recently installed Kaspersky Premium, app version 21.14.5.462. My PC's operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate, Service Pack 1, 64 bit.

Since the installation, I've noticed that there is a 10 second delay after pressing 'search', a problem that never happened on my previous Total Security package. Also, the PC now refuses to turn off fully and I have to press and hold the 'start button' to fully shut down. Both of these problems are annoying!

Please advise me how to improve the search time and how to get my PC to shut down fully without having to do it physically.

Please install latest version and check the problem.

Hi nexon. Thanks for your reply. I updated to .493 as you suggested and the PC shutdown appears to be back to normal. Unfortunately the 10 second delay is the same. Any further suggestions would be much appreciated.

1. You can try uninstall kaspersky and do restart PC after restart PC install kaspersky update manually databases and restart PC. Then check the problem. If this not resolved your issue then contact Tech Support. 

But keep in mind Windows 7 is not supported.

Thanks nexon. I'll try that tomorrow and let you know the outcome.

As a matter of interest I'm getting the 10 second issue on my Windows 10 PC, but not the shutdown issue! I'll see if the problem remains if I update that PC too.
