Kaspersky Password Manager problem

Recommended Posts

Hi, I made the mistake to include kaspersky passwords manager installed along with kaspersky antivirus. I realized it was only obstracting everything I did with prompts and what not, I ended up uninstalling it but in mozilla whenever I hit anywhere that has a login section, I do get the little kaspersky password pop up mini frame next to the password area.

I searched my control panel, I searched my mozilla addons, I cannot see any trace of it to further uninstall. How can I get rid of this annoying thing?

Hello @AlexandrosT.,

Welcome!

  1. Which Kaspersky AV software is installed please?
  2. May we have an image of the issue please?
  • If KPM extension is disabled in Mozilla browser:

  • & KPM application Auto-fill unchecked:

  • Mozilla Logins & passwords unchecked?
  • Secure keyboard input🤔

Please let me know?

Thank you🙏

It is Kaspersky Security Cloud. the free version.

There is no such thing in my mozilla addons. This thing acts like a virus, I cannot seem to be able to disabled it anywhere but it keeps popping whenever I try to put passwords.

I removed the secure input from the antivirus options. I’ll have to give it a check and see if I see this pop up frame again.
