Alert → Kaspersky Password Manager is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser, stop that extension

Firefox 89.0.2 (64-bit)

KPM 9.0.2.16299 (p) / 1624377209_6917 / 1.0.363.0-0.8.3.0_1

KPME 5.0.8.43

Despite being a known issue, according to: Password Manager ralenti Firefox & " Kaspersky Password Manager " sta rallentando Firefox. Si consiglia di bloccare l'estensione per velocizzare il browser, Kaspersky Technical Support claim to know nothing about it; their “solution”: “disable the extension”🙄

And then….🤔

Escalated.

Thank you🙏

@Flood and Flood's wife As far as I know , a fix will be rolled out in the  coming week.

Hello @Berny

Thank you for the information👌

From the two reference topics above, that’s what we also understood; so no problems there; our concern is, Kaspersky Technical Support state:

Quote

“No existing or known KPMe/Firefox with ‘Alert - Kaspersky Password Manager is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser, stop that extension’ issues/bugs”

End quote

[REMOVED] 🤔

Thank you🙏

In the context of our topic, we think it’s appropriate.

Hi @Flood and Flood's wife

I didn’t hide your quote 🤔
i am only referring to the first paragraph from the Community Rules :

“The Community of Kaspersky Lab product users was created for the purpose of resolving issues encountered while using Kaspersky Lab products.”

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello,

I think there has a KPM connection issue between KPM browser addone to its application process. maybe this issue is related to other web browsers addone such as proxy type addone or any addone which could handle and filter network traffic. Disable browser addone one by one to check, which is a better method to figure out the result. 😉

Regards.

Thank you @Anton Mefodys & @Berny

Fix appears to have resolved the issue👏

The ongoing support issues remain outstanding?. As support is a part of the Kaspersky product, (ioo), it’s appropriate to comment in our Community topics.

Thank you🙏
