Kaspersky hangs when scan a dll

Sample: VirusTotal - File - d926eadaed8927d5fe6c6fecb682d4d29c2bad2971cc0c02fe7394e97cb7d186 The dll is extracted from Microsoft Defender virus database.

Even in VT, Kaspersky times out when scanning this file, the only engine that times out.

When Kaspersky is enabled, any program that accesses this file will freeze. This is a very, very serious bug.

I can't upload any executable file to this forum directly.

Windows 11 + Kaspersky 21.18.5.438(a). The same thing happened on my other laptop.

and provide them the file and reproduce traces/

The issue has been fixed via databases. No more freezes when accessing or scanning this malicious executable file and timeouts of VirusTotal analysis.
