Kaspersky for Servers

When we were on Version 10 of Kaspersky, we were advised to use Kaspersky 8 for our File servers. We just upgraded to Kaspersky 12 and was wondering if we should be using the same version of Kaspersky for all our devices - servers and workstations.

 

Can you please advise as to what Kaspersky recommends moving forward? Should we be using a different version for our servers, or should all Windows devices (Workstations and servers) be using the same version?

It is recommended to use "Kaspesky Security for Windows Server" on servers

Thank you for sending that. Why is there a different version for servers? Is there a difference in how the client functions?
