Kaspersky endpoint security license information

Hello,

I have one question about KES license in my specific case.

I have an old KES 12 server with some complicated configuration and license about 1000 devices.

I created new KES 14 server with new configuration in same organization where is old KES 12 server(KAS backup and restore cannot be done in this case).

I want to install network agent and new version of KES 14 on all clients. My new KES 14 server can see all clients with old KES12 network agent.

I wonder if I can use the licenses of the old server at the same time on the new server, temporarily, only while the installation and testing of the new network agent and KES antivirus is ongoing?

After I finish the manual migration and installations, I would remove the license from the KES12 server and leave that license only on the new server.

Is this ok, so that I don't get my license blocked, etc?

regards,

Amir

you don't have to migrate manually. use the "Change administration server" task for clients on the old KSC 12 server

The task is to switch clients (network administration agents) to the new KSC 14 server, where you can also update both agents and clients to the latest current versions through remote installation tasks.
