I have recently downloaded Kaspersky 2019 Anti-virus software, while still having the Kaspersky 2017 Anti-virus working and within the license period. However, after download, the 2017 version is lost and the program says that I have no activation code. I am unable to find the 2017 activation code as that was a long time ago, and I did not link it to my Kaspersky account... Is there a way to undo the 2019 version and get my 2017 version back? If not, what should I do? :(((( Please help, much appreciated!!

Hello jx1998, Welcome! May I ask, when you look at the Kaspersky application "Support" window, you don't see ANY licence key? https://help.kaspersky.com/KAV/2017/en-EN/70625.htm https://help.kaspersky.com/KAV/2019/en-US/70155.htm When you say: "I did not link it to my Kaspersky account" The activation code populates automatically, are you saying you never associated your device with your MyKaspersky online account? https://my.kaspersky.com/MyLicenses#/ Please let us know? Thanks!

Hello!! FLOOD Thank you very much for your reply! 1. Yes I do not see any license key, it says "license is missing". 2. Yes I never created a Kaspersky account before today, as the Kaspersky software I got in 2017 was given as a free gift to me when I bought my laptop. There was no need to create an account for set-up then, as far as I can recall.

Hello jx1998, Thanks for posting back and the clarification. (imo) the only thing to do would be to contact Kaspersky Support and ask them to please assist you? You can make contact via your MyKaspersky account, create an incident, explain everything as you've explained here. Also you mentioned "KAV, still within license period", if you can recollect the approximate time left, that will also be helpful to the team. Kaspersky Support will be able to check their records, from that either assist or advise if they cannot. Best regards!
