Kaskersky Endpoint Security 12 silent install not working

Hello everyone,

I´m trying to automate the installation of Kaspersky Endpoint Security version 12 with PowerShell, and I´m trying to use silent install.

When testing the silent install manually before starting to write PowerShell code, I´ve found that the installer does not do anything when manually launched.

I´m trying with installer.exe /s /pAGREETOEULA=1 /pAGREETOPRIVACYPOLICY=1 for example, but when I run that, the execution finishes instanty with no message returned at all. 

It doesn´t matter which options I pass to the installer. if run installer.exe /s or I add any other option to the command line, it performs the same.

If I run installer.exe then the normal interactive setup starts, and it completes succesfully. 

Of course, all this is being done as administrator. Windows 11 Pro 25H2.

Can someone provide some help on this?

you can find the Endpoint Security Installation Parameter for Silent Installation here:

If you created a standalone package for KES you can use the Params like this:

setup_kes.exe /pEULA=1 /pPRIVACYPOLICY=1 /pKSN=1 /pALLOWREBOOT=1

Running the installer with these parameters provided by you results in the execution finishing inmediatly, and no error or message appears:

Nearly 4 weeks since my original post, and still waiting for someone to provide me a useful answer about my issue. 

Why is the installer finishing immediately after trying to run it in silent mode, and no install performed at all?

Sorry but I didn't thought that there is an Issue anymore because this is a normal behaviour when performing a Silent Installation Starting this and all will be done silent without notifications.

Do you have a Installation log in you User Temp or Windows\Temp Folder from the day where you started the Installation?

Of course I understand that the fact of running an installation in silent mode means that there's no output at all returned.

But, the installation process should take some minutes to complete, and I suppose that while it is running, even in silent mode, the command prompt will wait until the install process completes to appear again.

I mean, I don't think that a new process forks from the command prompt, and allows the command prompt to appear again immediately after me entering the install command and pressing enter. For me, the normal behaviour would be me entering the install command, and wait for the command prompt to appear again once the install has completed.

I've haven't seen any install log in user temp or windows temp.

I removed my local copy of Kaspersky AV, restarted the PC, and tried this from a PowerShell session with admin privileges:

PS C:\Users\megurroladiez\Downloads> .\installer.exe /norestart /pEULA=1 /pPRIVACYPOLICY=1 /pACTIVATIONCODE=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
PS C:\Users\megurroladiez\Downloads> .\installer.exe /pEULA=1 /pPRIVACYPOLICY=1 /pACTIVATIONCODE=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
PS C:\Users\megurroladiez\Downloads> .\installer.exe /pPRIVACYPOLICY=1 /pACTIVATIONCODE=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

None of these performed anything, and no logs at all in user TEMP or Windows TEMP folders.

Once I ran 

PS C:\Users\megurroladiez\Downloads> .\installer.exe

Interactive installation process started.

Any idea of what is happening?
