Hi Victor- I’ve installed pf9313, but my endpoint still doesn’t seem to be detected by the network agent

This would be a fail. It’s not letting me elevate this to admin to run it and it tosses a permissions error when it’s ran and is unable to complete.

I had to launch an admin powershell window, and manually launch the msp file to get it to install, try that?

Hello, I just installed the package released today November 12 but I still have the problem.

When installing the package, it gave me several errors, but I solved it by giving the current user permissions to the KAS folder because otherwise it gave me a privilege error as an administrator.

license can’t be activated

The Patch pf9313.msp doesn’t activate the license. The device is shown in the cloud panel and has obviously any connection between device and cloud panel, but does not activate the license.

With MAC OS devices it currently works as expected.

Same problem with us, but starting the fix with admin rights, it wen’t through. But anyway, it didn’t solve the problem….

Well, I see that the “as soon as Monday” release, isn’t. Still looking at v11.7 in the distribution packages.

Why isn’t there an official response to this? Sure seems like someone is sitting on their hands about owning this and then marshaling the dev team to roll that build back officially until they get working code. That they let this slip through without catching this (fairly obvious bug, too) implies that things are loose, which for an AV threat company, is scary.

Hi all, 

I´ve got the same problem today, also, I´ve tried do uninstall, got the corruption error, tried kavremover, impossible to uninstall and reinstall. I finally formated the pc, and install a new package downloaded from site today (16/11/2021), and I still have the same problem, Application is not activated.

Is it possible to get the oldest version 11.6?

Hi,
Here is the status update from the R&D team.

This week we plan to start the first part of service works to fix that issue.

For those users who already installed KES 11.7, we prepared the solution with automatic PF deployment. We are now waiting for the final PF to be prepared.
For users who haven’t installed KES 11.7 yet, we plan to perform service works to change packages on the fixed versions.

As for the existing PF9313, please check the  installation scenario below:

  Start command line with administrator privileges and perform the following commands:

•    1. sc stop klnagent
•    2. msiexec /i {F4ECE08F-50E9-44E2-A2F3-2F3C8DDF8E16} PATCH=<full path to pf including the name of the file pf9313.msp> LOCKFILESONUPDATE="" EULA=1 PRIVACYPOLICY=1 /qn
    
Patch installation will start. The product will be unloaded from the system for a couple of seconds and then will start automatically. During that time you may see the announcement from windows security center, that KES and Defender are stopped.

After making sure that PF is installed please run the command: sc start klnagent.

That is not the final solution but could be used for whom this situation is critical and can’t wait for other PF or KES fixed version.

Hi guys,

 

Doing test see the patch can’t be installed if in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\F80ECE4F9E052E442A3FF2C3D8FDE861\SourceList the PackageName key is not correctly configured.

 

In several PC I found the key PackageNameNotExist

 

It affects if like uninstall the KES too.

 

Now, fix this issue, I tried the patch in three devices and in two worked fine but other don’t.

 

i like try add the patch to installation package but the procedure available in https://support.kaspersky.com/14409 isn’t clear for me, particularly to build the new package.

 

This a big problem to our customer. I hope a  quickly fix and a compensation to customer subscription.
