I am wondering if what I have is indeed the latest version of KAV (Anti-Virus stand alone)?

  1. Yes, you have the most current KAV version & patch → refer Kaspersky Anti-Virus release notes. 
  2. Kaspersky have not *yet* announced a 2022 release date, please see topic from @Danila T. Beta Testing of a new Kaspersky product & topic raised by @Kempie: Kaspersky 2022: When? What? How? Frequently Asked Questions.
