Is Kaspersky Restore Disk scan rootkits including scan of UEFI ?

I’m searching to eradicate a rootkit in an ACER Aspire XC600 under Windows 10.

So I use the Live disk Kaspersky Rescue Disk.

Does it scan for rootkits  including scan of UEFI ?

Hello.

 

Kaspersky Rescue Disk only scans UEFI files from disk. For ROM scan you can use Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool.
