I had seen few months back that there was an option under Intrusion Prevention System to add folders manually and restrict the app access from there for such folders. But now I no longer see that option. Is it removed ?

Welcome to Kaspersky Community.

Go to Intrusion Prevention settings -> Manage Resources:

Select [Add]:

@harlan4096thanks for your screenshots. I was able to add folders to it. But for some reason even if all the acess is denied and logs are on it is simply not working. As I was able to delete a file inside the folder and I was able to open a pdf with adobe and adobe has no access to it as per my IPS settings. Any idea why its not working the way it was supposed to.

Ok, but where did You create the rule, in the left section:

I would create the rule here here:

Also, which masks did You use for the rule?

Version of the Kaspersky product 21.13?

@harlan4096I added folders manually to the left side section which was not shown here in the screenshots. Should I need to select user files specifically and change its rule also. Is this are you suggesting ? Enlighten me with the steps for it.
