I'm running Windows 10 and I haven't been able to log into my web portal (going to 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1 in web browser) Firefox or Microsoft Edge. Any other site works and I'm still able to get in the web portal on other devices.

Hello @Daywalker_27

Welcome!

There's a known issue with v21.3 that's been fixed in the new version, there's two options, a free upgrade to the new version or a workaround to the existing version, please read on:

*Option one*

  1. Please confirm (your) region / location is *not* USA?
  2. Make sure the KTS activation code is saved in (your) MyKaspersky account, Subscription tab?
  3. Create a System Restore Point
  4. Uninstall KTS, using Windows, Uninstall OR change a program
  5. Shutdown the computer using Shutdown, not Restart, power ON the computer by pressing the power button, login.
  6. Download Kaspersky Plus: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads#update-product
  7. Install Kaspersky Plus.
  8. *Important* At the *end* of the successful Kaspersky Plus install, make sure you've signed into the Kaspersky Plus application with the same email address that (you) use to sign into (your) MyKaspersky account - so it synchronises with (your) MyKaspersky account.
  9. Recheck the original issue?

*Option two*

  1. Make sure Windows Hidden items, is checked -> refer: View hidden files and folders in Windows
  2. *important* -> open Kaspersky app, select Settings⚙ -> General, uncheck Enable Self-Defense, select Save, select Yes to confirm the action.
  3. Exit Kaspersky app - on the Windows taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select Exit.
  4. Go to folder C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.3\Report\ and delete the contents -> all files and folders.
  5. Shutdown the computer, using Shutdown, not Restart, power on, login.
  6. Make sure KTS is running?
  7. *important* -> Enable Self-Defense.
  8. Re-check the issue(s)?

Please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available?

Thank you🙏

Well I did the uninstall, shut down and figured I'd check if I can get into my web portal, still no go. So I reinstalled KTS after starting my PC back up and I'm still unable to get into the portal.

I have no idea why I can't log into the web portal when my PC still has access to the net or why I can enter web portal from my cell but not the PC.

After uninstalling KTS and still not able to get in I'm gonna assume it's not KTS that's causing my issue.

I'd like to thank you for you help, we didn't solve my issue but I was able to eliminate my suspicion of to what the cause was, I just wish I know what the problem was.

Hello @Daywalker_27

You're most welcome!

Thank you for posting back & the information!

  1. Have (you) recently changed anything about the configuration for the web-portal & is this a *new* issue OR has it always existed?
  2. In the browsers, have all cookies/history & cache - for linksys* OR 192.168* OR 10.0* been removed/cleared?
  3. In Kaspersky Reports, are there any errors OR alerts related to linksys* OR 192.168* OR 10.0*?
  4. Please provide the *full* W10 OS Build number, in Windows Search, type WINVER, select the WINVER app & post back the information shown please?
  5. Using ipconfig - confirm the Default gateway is 192.168.1.1?
  6. In Windows, Network and Sharing Center, confirm Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) has Obtain an IP address automatically & Obtain DNS server address automatically - configured?
  7. Has a full router reset been done - including -> first powering OFF the PC using SHUTDOWN, not Restart, disconnecting all connections from the PC to the router *and* remove the power cable; powering OFF the router by using the power button - do not do this unless (you) have the router password. To connect back, power ON router first, connect the power cable back to the computer; turn on the computer by pressing the power button, login, connect any communications cables between computer & router, start browser, recheck?

Please post back?

Thank you🙏
