How to turn off "Visiting an untrustworthy website has been prevented"

Recommended Posts

Hello, I use Kaspersky plus and the vpn. I often get errors of "Visiting an untrustworthy website has been prevented"

How can I switch this off. I am quiet happy to visit all sites which are http: I do not want to have to be force to add each site i wish to visit that is non https to a database etc.

How can I turn this off please.

I understand the difference between http and https

I do not want to be forced to constantly have to click "I understand the risks and wish to continue"

@Duncan Welcome

You can add the site to the trusted list and Kaspersky will no longer block the address, yet your browser may continue with the "I understand the risks and wish to continue" warning, but once you click this option, this will not should appear more.

IF YOU TRUST THE SITE AND KNOW THAT IT IS SECURE (at your own risk - only if very necessary)

You can exclude the site from Kaspersky's scan by doing the following:

Spoiler
  • Open the Kaspersky graphical interface
  • Click on the gear symbol (settings) in the lower left-hand side of the window
  • Click on → Security settings
  • Scroll down (to the bottom) and click → Network settings
  • Scroll down again (to the bottom) and click → Trusted addresses
  • In the new window, click → Add
  • In the domain box, enter the address of the website you want to include in the exclusions
  • In Status, set it to → Active
  • Click → Add
  • Click → Save
  • Click → Save

If you want to turn it off completed, you can change the settings to "Do not scan encrypted connections"
