Hi, my computer has detected “HEUR:Trojan.Win32.Kryptik.gen” but it said it can’t be disinfected.

Pls find attached print screen saying there are only 2 options: skip or delete archive

Will the infected so resolved if I chose “delete archive”? can I backup my files under this situation?

skip or delete archive

Please  proceed like this :

  1. Delete archive
  2. Reboot
  3. ⚠️ Update databases
  4. Run a full scan ?

Also , KTS has been replaced with Kaspersky Plus , instructions will follow after your problem has been is fixed.

@JPak18

A full Kaspersky scan without detections means that your system is clean.

Also , please see the post from @harlan4096 above your post , what is your geographical location ?
Is  your Database update schedule set on 'Automatically' ?

Great, thanks @Berny

@harlan4096 I m located in Hong Kong and the database update is set as “Automatically. The database wasn’t updated when I did the print screen becoz I disconnected my network when my computer was infected but now it is updated, thanks.

@JPak18 You are welcome.

Please read this : Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - info & FAQ → Q1
You 'can' upgrade for free from KTS to Kaspersky Plus.

With an on-top install Kaspersky Plus will import  license & settings from KTS.
To play safe please export your KTS settings before migrating to the new version.
