Is there any way to renew KIS license?

I don't want to install new KS, because I have PC's with Vista and Windows 7.

Hello @mox

Welcome back!

  • Vista is not supported, Windows 7 is, with a *proviso*, please readKaspersky for Windows, Hardware and software requirements: "Kaspersky application cannot be installed on Microsoft Windows 7 without installed operating system updates: KB4490628 (March 12, 2019) and KB4474419 (September 23, 2019)."

  1. KIS subscriptions cannot be purchased online from Kaspersky websites, you may be able to purchase from third-party-merchants (please do not buy from eBay, the *same* activation-codes are frequently sold to multiple subscribers, people have been scammed on more than one occasion) OR you may be able to purchase KIS in a boxed version, from a local store.
  2. Also, please readWhere to buy an activation code?
  3. Also, note, Kaspersky uses an automatic & silent Total-Force-Upgrade (TFU), after installing KIS, the software may try to update unless (you) implement a manual hack to prevent updates of new versions & patches.

Thank you🙏

What will happen if Auto-renewal is ON?

Hello @mox

Thank you for posting back & the additional question!

Read: How your subscription works

  • When the subscription is due to *renew*, Kaspersky will *automatically* renew the subscription, as Kaspersky Standard, the new KIS.
  • Also note, Kaspersky's auto-renew subscriptions are at current market price & (in our experience) most often more expensive.
  • IF (you) look at Kaspersky Standard shopping cart it will show the anticipated price of the renewal subscription, Kaspersky Standard purchased at the Kaspersky UK site for example, original 'introductory' price = £17.99 , renewal price =  £45.99:

It's *easy* to turn auto-renew OFF, IF the option is not in (your) MyKaspersky account, log a case with Kaspersky Customer Service, they will do it for (you).

Thank you🙏

I don't have another option for Vista except to try to buy/find either legal or not activation code to continue running KIS.

I have ordered Kaspersky Plus retail on local shop.

Does it contain activation code?

You can find the activation code in your personal account My Kaspersky.

Hello @mox

Thank you for posting back & the extra questions.

IF (you've) purchased Kaspersky Plus at a physical local store, please read: Where to find the activation code I bought? & Via a retail partner store

"If you bought a license activation or a license renewal card, you can find the code on the back of the card."

Yes, the 'card' is in the box that the Kaspersky plus software is in, generally you need to 'scratch' to uncover the activation-code - do the *scratching* very carefully.

Thank you🙏

A license for the new Kaspersky range is not valid backwards.

Thank you, I was wondering if that's possible, of course not.
