Does anyone know if there is anyway to check if the database of android app is up to date? Long time ago it shows the time stamp of database when the ban went effective, so we know it has not been updating. But later I believe they removed label. So how do we know when it was last updated? USA user.

Where is the *current* software installed from? 

(ioe) the updates are not happening automatically thru Samsung but are thru Huawei & as (you're) in the USA it may be necessary to use the Huawei app store & possibly a VPN, read: How to download Kaspersky applications on Android and iOS

I installed thru apk directly. Why does it not showing database time stamp?

Even it is banned in US, it should at least show the time stamp.

  1. We installed the APK to verify (your) claim, the APK we installed has the information. 
  2. Check DB update settings?
  3. Either (your) install is not as per requirements OR, possibly a device issue OR something else, you may wish to reach out to Kaspersky for assistance, follow the guide below:
