I don’t know how to change the boot order on a mac.  Do I have to go into the MacOs and configure it there?

Hello.

Try hold the Option (ALT) key on your keyboard during computer loading. And select KRD boot.

I tried that but the only boot options that popped up were Mac and Windows.

How do you create KRD flash drive?

Posted

Insert KRD flush drive to USB
Choose Apple menu -> System Preferences, then click Startup Disk.

Startup Disk preferences
Is KRD drive present in the list?
Try to Select KRD flush drive. If you see a message that your security settings do not allow this Mac to use an external startup disk, check the External Boot setting in Startup Security Utility.

No it doesn’t show up in the Start Disk list.  I tried this on my wife’s macbook air (no bootcamp) and the KRD was not showing up.

I check on several mac (Mac mini and Mac Pro) and its ok.

Try to select DD mode in Rufus (its in the next dialog after pressing START button). After that check if KRD appeared in Startup Disk.

Which mac version do you have?

Yes!  That worked.  Thanks for your help.  I am running Catalina.
